Discover how the histories of Chautauqua and Open Space Mountain Parks (OSMP) are woven together. We will stop along the way to view historic Chautauqua and OSMP structures and observe where Lyons sandstone was quarried for some of the buildings in Boulder. We'll discuss the amazing flora, fauna and geology of the area. Please wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots and bring water, a snack and rain gear. The hike is about 3 miles round trip with an elevation gain of around 700 feet. Meet at the Chautauqua Dining Hall. No pets, please.
