CourseGraphic Say "tie-dye" and most people think of American hippie style t-shirts.  Shibori, the ancient art of folding, tying, wrapping and clamping fabric to make resist patterns, is the inspiration for modern tie-dye.  In both of these techniques, once the resist is applied, your choices for adding colors is limited only by your imagination!  In this class, you will learn a variety of ways to make beautiful colors, patterns and images on fabric and create multi-layered pieces that can be mounted as wall hangings or used to make functional or wearable art.  No artistic experience is necessary! A $20 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
