« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Get over your fear of grant writing with advice from an expert! You will learn the skills needed to write a successful grant: identifying fundable projects, researching possible funders, making the case for a new project, compiling support data and building a budget. In the process, students will select and interview staff at a local nonprofit, making connections to develop a network. We'll study similar example grants, explore funder priorities and trends in the field, and workshop our own drafts. You can come with an organization in mind or instructor will have ideas.
