Talking with your hands is a useful skill to have. It supplements spoken language when we have trouble hearing, and it’s easier and more fun to learn than reading lips. You can converse silently, in noise, through windows or across the room. Signing is expressive - a dynamic and complex communication form that is enjoyable and habit-forming. This engaging class uses modified American Sign Language (ASL) taught in English - friendly format. Every class introduces sign clusters, with visual aids and activities for fluency. You'll learn useful phrases and find ways to replace, or enhance, spoken language with silent language. No experience necessary.
