In this class we will be preparing a delicious vegetarian Italian meal, including a delightful salad of butter lettuces with fennel, white beans, and oranges with shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano, and homemade potato gnocchi with crispy sage and brown butter. We'll top off the meal with Chocolate Hazelnut Biscotti for dessert. You will learn how to cut citrus fruits into sections with no pesky membranes, cook flavorful white beans, make very light and perfect gnocchi, create a nutty and amazingly flavorful brown butter sauce, and crunchy, chocolaty biscotti. No airline ticket is necessary - just bring yourself and your appetite! Buon apetito!! A $40 materials fee is payable to instructor.
