Writing the Middle of the Story

Even the most experienced writers can fall into plot-laden middle acts that rely on “this happens, then this happens, then this happens.” Instead, connect your readers to your characters and share exactly what is at stake in your story. Generate larger-than-life battles with details of what your heroes and villains are doing, thinking and feeling. We will focus on the structural milestones in every story's adventure. Bring writing materials to class. A $10 materials fee is payable to instructor at class.
