Using a pointed steel nib, produce an elegant style of lettering characterized by both thick and thin strokes typical of the Copperplate script. This calligraphic writing harkens back to 16th
century English round hand writing masters that used copper plate engravings to print their work. Please bring a pointed pen nib such as Gillott 404, Zebra G, Nikko G or similar nib, an oblique penholder, Higgins Eternal Ink and gum arabic (optional). Instructor will share gum arabic and provide practice papers. Contact instructor for more information.
