ClassGraphic Get over your fear of grant writing with advice from an expert! You will learn the skills needed to write a successful grant: identifying fundable projects, researching possible funders, making the case for a new project, compiling support data and building a budget. In the process, students will select and interview staff at a local nonprofit, making connections to develop a network. We'll study similar example grants, explore funder priorities and trends in the field, and workshop our own drafts. You can come with an organization in mind or instructor will have ideas. Materials fee: $5.
