Russian is the fifth-most spoken language in the world; spoken in over a dozen countries by over 145 million people. Not just the language of the Tsars and Lenin, Russian remains a common language from Armenia to Uzbekistan. This class will introduce students to the Russian alphabet and provide basic conversational skills in real world settings. Taught with an eye towards meeting each student's needs, we will cover aspects of Russian culture and history in addition to providing a brief grammar overview.
