With globalization and increasing reliance on technology and design, STEM and maker skills are essential skills for every child. FunGram classes cover and make use of science, logic and mathematics. These skills along with persistence and problem solving that are used in building a project help your child develop into a more confident maker while having fun.
 
Would you like to build your own computer programs?  Do you know coding basics and want to learn a new language?  Take your programming to the next level with our Python class!  Python is a very versatile programming language that is widely used in the professional world. Open to students of all levels, this class will teach you Python coding from the basic syntax to more complex concepts, such as object-oriented development.  Throughout the class, you will build a variety of projects including text-based games, such as battleship or tic-tac-toe. Those with no prior coding experience will start with a short introduction to coding concepts using Scratch.  Each student is provided with a computer each class.  Materials fee $40 is payable online before the first class, from your parent account on https://www.CodingWithKids.com website. Instructions for the payment will be sent a few days before the first class.
