ClassGraphic As summer progresses so do the wildflowers. August brings sunflowers and other mid-season beauties. Take an easy hike on open space trails to practice your identification skills and learn new ones. You will find out about flower families and how these plants are named. The hike will be approximately 3 miles with an elevation gain of 400 feet and start from the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring water. Rain date: Aug 4th
