ClassGraphic Do you love the idea of walking out into your backyard and collecting fresh eggs for breakfast? Does the thought of keeping poultry intimidate you? Springtime is a great time of year to get your own hatchlings or adult birds. This course will teach you everything about choosing the best poultry for your lifestyle, daily care and nutrition, proper coop space, poultry health and more. Students will select and incubate their own poultry eggs for hatching, learn to raise your chicks and even take them home at the end of the course! Species include chickens, turkeys, and ducks. Materials fee: $40
