Spend a week making exciting, new recipes that incorporate seasonal Colorado produce! From the comfort of your home kitchen, join our Farm Chef as she guides you on a Farm to Table cooking journey. Cooking camp will include two daily recipes that may include breakfast, lunch, and snack recipes. Plus, each week will include a dinner recipe for the whole family to celebrate the end of your week. We’ll share lessons on kitchen safety, crafts, and outdoor activities to explore the journey your food makes before it gets to your table. Please note: adult supervision is recommended, especially for younger campers. Ingredients are not included, but an ingredient list will be provided in advance. The Full Farmer Package comes with all of the online resources and a supply basket that can be picked up from Growing Gardens.
A typical daily schedule will include:
- 2 zoom calls with our Environmental Educators and fellow campers
- 2 video lessons with fun, hands-on activities
- 2 theme-related crafts
- 1 snack recipe
- 1 scavenger hunt or bingo
- 1 activity for the whole family
We anticipate that the planned camp activities will take approximately 4 hours each day.
